Simply, we provide expert transport and highways support for development projects, drawing upon our extensive experience gained in multi-disciplinary engineering and planning consultancies.

David is the founder and Director of Apex TP. He is a Fellow of the CIHT and has extensive experience of leading and delivering projects across Wales and England gained at four national multi-disciplinary consultancies.
David has applied this knowledge and experience to establish and grow Apex TP to become a highly respected transport consultancy across a wide geographical area in a variety of sectors .

Grant is a Principal Consultant with experience of all transport planning and highway design matters, gained at a number of national engineering consultancies across England and Wales.
He manages and delivers key outputs for development planning projects, with particular expertise in renewable energy schemes, as well as leading the planning stage highway design inputs.
Sophie Donkin

Sophie supports the team on all projects for a range of development schemes. This includes access analysis, active travel audits, travel planning, road safety reviews and traffic survey analysis. She also prepares transport reports and provides advice on site layout proposals.
Sophie started at Apex TP in January 2022 after completing her degree in Urban Planning and Development at Cardiff University.

Rory is a Regional Director who leads the Apex TP Bristol team. He has 19 years’ experience of supporting private and public sector clients, delivering transport inputs across a range of complex and strategic developments.
Rory oversees and approves technical work, utilising his extensive experience of leading and delivering projects, to achieve commercially viable planning consents for our clients.

Lewis is an Associate with 19 years’ experience in both the private and public sectors and joined the Apex TP Bristol team in October 2023.
Lewis has a wealth of knowledge of development management and policies from 10 years in local authority, as well as over 9 years of private consultancy experience, advising and supporting clients with planning submissions, strategic planning and land acquisition.

Annie is a Transport Planner with five years' experience, who joined Apex TP in November 2023. She has worked on a wide range of projects throughout England and Wales, supporting public and private sector clients.
Annie's experience includes feasibility support, masterplanning advice, planning application support, reserved matters and discharging planning conditions.
