SOPHIE DONKIN
Sophie joined the team full-time in January 2022 following graduation from Cardiff University. Sophie supports the team on all projects for a range of development schemes. This includes swept path analysis, access design, active travel audits, road safety analysis, traffic surveys, preparation of transport reports and advice on site layout proposals.

Sophie has a degree in Urban Planning and Development and has completed the taught element of a Transport and Planning MSc, gaining experience in GIS software, accessibility analysis, transport policies, transport modelling, and transport economics. She is currently finalising her dissertation on the sustainability of Micromobility with a case study on Cardiff.
In her spare time, Sophie is a keen sportsperson, with her main sport currently being tennis but she also loves the gym, running, hiking and skiing, and is open to trying out new sports. She is currently in training for the Cardiff half marathon in March. At University she took a key role in the Korfball club as a media officer and social secretary promoting the club and organising fundraising activities. Sophie is also a keen traveller having extensively travelled through Australasia and Asia.
